Riverside, East Perth
The first stage of development at Riverside will be on the former Metrobus Depot site in the Queens Precinct, bounded by Hay Street and Adelaide Terrace, opposite Queen's Gardens. The site was environmentally remediated in 2003 with the former Depot buildings demolished. Subdivision works started in January 2005 and the lots were sold in March 2006. It will be predominantly residential with commercial and retail spaces on major road frontages, with development due for completion in 2010.
