Design Guidelines

Following a public comment period in November 2004, the Design Guidelines in Riverside - the Queens Precinct - have been finalised. These guidelines will encourage best practice urban design and ensure that developments contribute positively to sustainability.

- Buildings will be energy rated.

- Building orientation and shading will conform to passive solar design principles.

Water sensitive design will ensure that there is zero environmental impact on the Swan River.
